"The world's first and only superhero has disappeared after undergoing a catacylsmic fall fall from grace in the eyes of the world. Middle-aged and unable to support his operations he had made a preposterous claim that the world was in danger, a notion derided by the media and the public at large.

But what if the claim is true?"

So opens the first issue of British comics publisher Titan comics, Cap Stone.

Oddly the stage is set with a dream.

The central character of the first issue is not Cap Stone himself, who never appears at all, but a woman and her back story as a 12 year old side kick to her "gentleman thief" father.

With dark art and mature themes this actually might not appeal to some at first glance but once engaged will intrigue and entertain.

So just who is Charlotte Chance and what on earth does she have to do with a fallen superhero?

Recommended.
