Bigfoot: Sword of the Earthman (Action Lab)

Bigfoot: Sword of the Earthman (Action Lab)

Josh S. Henaman (w) Andy Taylor (a)

Well this is different! Not the first man on Mars but the first Bigfoot? A mythical creature on Earth but a "legend" on Mars as the cover tells us.

No explanation is given of how or why Bigfoot is on another planet, nor how he is real or where he is from other than the Martians seem to call him an "Earthman". Obviously they don't seem to know about the human race?

With absolutely no dialogue from the hero himself the reader is taken on a ride through an oppressive (and brutal) empire that exists on the red planet. His only friend Castor is an opportunist seemingly out to save his own skin and maybe make a buck or two.

The world we are taken into bears no relation to Warlord of Mars or War of the Worlds. This is something quite different.

Did I mention nasty bugs living in the ground that even the native Castor seems to be unaware of?

They're very nasty.

And escaping from them will lead to more trouble.

Continued next issue...
