This is an eight part adventure starring Peter Davison as a solo running Doctor released over a two month period. I'm not entirely sure why they chose to do it this way except it costs more for a story that could have been done in a one.
The Doctor has collided with another ship in the Time Vortex and is experiences a whole series of half hour adventures with the same people with different names in different setting across time an space, until the last one that is. Despite the Daleks being the main selling point of this story their appearance is spartan to say the least but they are there in the background.
There is a point to it all and a satisfying conclusion but far too long for what it is.
Conclusion: An expensive failure for the listener.
