I don't want to give too much away but this is another great issue and shows me what's been missing for too long: the first family of Marvel, The very Fantastic Four!

The Savage Sword of Conan #2 (Marvel)
Gerry Duggan (w) Ron Garney (a)
Now this was a massive improvement from the first disappointing issue which set up the scene but took far too bloody long! Star Trek: The Q Conflict #2 (IDW)
Scott Tipton & David Tipton (w) David Messina (a)
And so the continuum pick their teams which turn out to be a real mish-mash of the four original Star Trek TV crews. A bit of fun that leaves Quark last and protesting he shouldn't even be here as he's not part of Star Fleet. Tough. The "little troll" as he is referred to is in for graduation of the game.
Under the threat of their home worlds being burned the crews are forced to compete but Picard puts his foot down and demands certain rules. The first contest is to retrieve and artefact from a world full of stray doorways. Who will win. Who will lose.
The game is afoot.
