Just two new comics arrived for me this week. Both sword & sorcery adventures set in the same Hyborian world yet from separate publishers. The preview below give you a flavour of this interesting set up issue. Sonja shows she has talents other than just swordsmanship after being tricked by the Elders.
Great issue. Good new villain: Dragan. Hopefully in the future Dynamite and Marvel will allow a team up or two. These characters do belong together!

Talking of Conan there's his third issue back in it's original and frankly best home with Marvel. This issue is another flashback saga this time taking him back to a young age. Far from being a mere stripling of a lad he's a capable of looking after himself even when getting caught for trying to nick gold.
As usual our Cimmerian is about to cheat death. Meanwhile his body heads ever closer to a hungry god...
