Judge Dredd Megazine #403 (Rebellion) OUT NOW

Judge Dredd Megazine #403 (Rebellion)

Various (w) & (a)

The latest issue of the Judge Dredd Megazine hits the shelves this week with the last issue for 2018 and it's up to the usual high standards with a most excellent tale for Dredd himself  as he investigates a former perp playing Santa for the richer folk and then there's a death.

A mystery for Dredd to investigate with a nice little twist in The Fight Before Christmas by Alex de Campi (w) & Patrick Goddard (a). Loved it!

The siege continues in Lawless: Ashes to Ashes written by Dan Abnet with black & white art from Phil Winslade. Will sacrifices be needed as the hordes try to destroy Badrock.

The final chapter of Storm Warning: Over my Dead Body by Leah Moore & John Reppion. Psi-Judge Storm finally tracks down the spirit inhabiting Christopher's body. Art by Jimmy Broxton.

The next chapter of Blunt II by Edglington & Cook carries on what I consider to be the only weak link in the Megazine. Not really my cup o' tea as they say but it has it's fans.

The Meg ends with the horrifying tale of the undead Dark Judges committing genocide in The Torture Garden. The colony is down to just 12 hostages and one free man. Even then there's traitors to be found. No wonder Judge Death considers life itself to be a crime.

The issue also contains two features, the first is about the revival of Roy of the Rovers (originally from the long cancelled Tiger comic) which will be fun for football fans, but my attention was caught by the interview about the short lived Wildcat comics and the forthcoming reprints from Rebellion.

Plus of course the extra reprint comic comes bagged with the Megazine. This month, some of Tharg's 3rillers. All part of the package. Nuff said!

I've already pre-ordered Turbo Jones which is out next month. (See link below)
